Difficult Case

How do you figure out how to
use energy medicine to help people who are ill or in pain when the standard methods
aren’t working? This is where energy medicine moves from technique into art.
This class reviews and adds
information on the best pain techniques and illness "how-to’s" while using
a case-oriented style of teaching.
The class is designed to
inform your intuition as well as your knowledge base. It is an advanced class. Everyone
who signs up for it is required to have completed the following:
- An Energy Medicine 5-Day Basic
Training class with Donna or the equivalent in shorter classes and
the intensive study of her book and 6-hour "Energy Medicine
Essential Techniques" videotapes. If you are not well-versed in these basics, this is
not the class for you.
- The "Intermediate 5-day"
or the "Energy Tracker" weekend or
to have viewed and practiced with at least one other person the Energy Tracker
Video Program and submitted the Certificate test. This is required. The
Radiant Circuits / Freeing the Spirit" video program is also recommended if
you were not at that class.
You are also strongly
encouraged to be familiar with an energy test for each of the 14 meridians.
These have not been taught in any of Donna’s classes in these past three years, nor
are they in her book or videotapes.

THE RADIANT CIRCUITS
Taught by Sarah Owen
Like the meridians and the chakras, the radiant circuits are an independent
energy system. They are considered more primary than the meridians in the sense that they
are present in the embryo before the meridians have differentiated and they are present in
simple organisms that do not have a meridian system. People who can see subtle energy
describe them as having a radiant quality.
The radiant
energies emphasize positive potentials and are connected to our most primal intuitive and
psychic abilities. They are important for working with psychological issues because you
cannot feel joy if your radiant energies are not flowing and you cannot move through life
in an integrated manner if the radiant energies are not connecting and harmonizing the
other energy systems. The radiant circuits can be used for addressing specific issues or
problems, but their primary mechanism is to infuse radiance and harmony into all the other
energy systems. They can also help a person capture, or recapture, more widespread
feelings of contentment and joy. Also called the "strange flows" in Chinese
medicine, you can read more about them in Chapter 8 of Energy Medicine.
Donna’s
weekend module on the radiant circuits in Sedona ("Freeing the Spirit") was one of the most popular and enthusiastically
received classes she has ever taught. Following it, several of her students have been
teaching this system to wonderful responses. We have received great feedback about the
Radiant Circuit classes that Sarah Owen has been teaching and have asked her to present
this class, tied in so that people who come to the June Portland weekend can simply stay
on through Monday.
